PRISMA, the photo app that is in all the rage right now all over the world after Pokemon Go, was founded by a Russian programmer, CEO & the founder of  Prisma Labs, Alexey MoiseenkovDeveloped in Moscow, Russia, within two months, with the help of a team consisting of 9 members, the app was launched on June 11 being published by Prisma labs,inc.

The team claims that PRISMA uses the technology of "Convolutional neural networks and Artificial intelligence", unique combination of which helps you turn memorable moments into timeless arts.To explain, it doesn't simply apply filters on the top but actually scans the data to apply the art styles of famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh,Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch and others to your photos to convert them into a masterpiece of painting or sketch.

Within a week of its release, Prisma had topped the charts with "over 6,50,000 installs" and recieved a rating of 4.5 in the U.S & Russia.

This one month old app was initially released on iOS platform which is now also available on Android's Google Play store. Thus numbers in stats are yet far from reaching the max.
